I’m a daughter of a hairstylist and one of ten children. Born and raised in sunny, Boca Raton, Florida.
Licensed for 14+ years behind the chair.

My passion for hair started as a little girl, playing hairstylist on my Grandma and Aunts. They always told me I’d have my own salon one day. As I got older my love for the beauty industry got stronger. In middle school/ high school, it was no surprise I found myself doing my friends hair and makeup, to which we both enjoyed very much. I mean who would say no to being glammed up? From there I knew that I wanted to take my love for hair and pursue a career in the beauty industry.
While attending Cosmetology school I worked at one of Boca Raton’s top Hair salons, learning from some of the best hairstylist and educators in the industry. Once licensed in 2007 there was no time wasted, I started working immediately behind the chair growing my clientele. While perfecting and continuously learning to master my craft, nothing was more important to me than making connections with my clients while being able to do what I love.

In June 2013, I decided to make the move to Chicago, IL to accomplish more in the hair industry. I worked behind the chair for a local salon at three of their locations — Andersonville, Lakeview (Boystown) and Wicker Park. A perk of working in three completely different neighborhoods was that I was able to keep myself versatile in all hairstyles and color, to keep up with the neighborhood trends. When I wasn’t behind the chair at the salon, I spent my free time doing photoshoots, styling editorial— avant-garde hair and makeup for submissions to magazines.

In 2015 I became full-time behind the chair in Andersonville, to me, one of Chicago’s best neighborhoods, where truly everyone is family! That’s when I knew I needed to set my own roots here. I decided to open HAIR GIRL HAIR in May, 2018.

My niche is custom lived-in color techniques, fantasy— vivid color, extreme corrective color, precision custom haircuts — thin hair to thick curly hair, hair extensions and brazilian blowout— smoothing treatment. Trained at Bumble and Bumble University— styling and razor haircuts. I prioritize serving my clients by simply listening and learning the history of my clients hair and their hair goals in order to meet their expectations. Whether it is a simple trim or a major color change, I take my time to discuss care, maintenance, and the level of commitment to which I think are the keys to success in your hair journey.

I promise all of my clients an enjoyable experience and also teach you how to manage your style at home with the proper IGK and Victory hair products for your hair type and everyday lifestyle, so you'll always look your best. Delivering beautiful and consistent work is equally important me as the bonds I build with whomever sits in my chair. By listening to my client’s needs and adding my own input, I’ve built a loyal and trusting clientele.
